Sunday Morning Service

Good morning. I often hear people say "God is good"... Well so is electricity... BUT if you don't turn the lights on you'll stay in the dark. (Remember) Prayer works if you work it...

Rest In Power EARTHA KITT

Eartha Kitt, a sultry singer, dancer and actress who rose from South Carolina cotton fields to become an international symbol of elegance and sensuality, has died, a family spokesman said. She was 81.
Her career spanned six decades, from her start as a dancer with the famed Katherine Dunham troupe to cabarets and acting and singing on stage, in movies and on television. She persevered through an unhappy childhood as a mixed-race daughter of the South and made headlines in the 1960s for denouncing the Vietnam War during a visit to the White House.

Sunday Morning Service

God talks through favor. Follow the path of favor. Who has shown favor to you over the last couple of years? Who has been kind to you? Where has your primary source of income been coming from? Stop and really think about this. I heard Dr. Mike Murdoch say "Do not keep walking down a road where there is no favor." Where do you see favor? Honor it! Treasure it! Protect it! Watch over it! Pray over it! Go where you've been celebrated. RUN from unfavorable situations. That's one of the keys to great success.

Gorilla Zoe "Lost"

Not that Gorilla Zoe is my type of artist. But I must admit as many times as I heard this on the radio, this song never registered with me until I saw the video. Two thumbs up for losing Lil’ Wayne in the video version of this song! SMH @ Officer Rawse appearance. I wonder how many people feel this exact same way, not just cats in the industry but regular everyday folk that get “LOST” in the matrix with no direction.

ESPECIALLY AROND THIS TIME OF YEAR!

Sunday Morning Service

Good morning. There was a little boy named Steven who once asked a wise old man what it took to be successful. The wise old man picked Steven up by the scruff of his neck and dunked him, head first, into a barrel filled with water. Steven was kicking and squirming with all he had, but the wise old man just kept him under water. After holding young Steven there for several minutes, and mere seconds before Steven passed out, the wise olf man released his hold on the young boy. As Steven began to catch his breath, he said, “ Hey, why did you go and do that? You must be out of your mind you could have killed me.” The wise old man just laughed and said, “You asked me what it took to be successful? Well what was the one thing you wanted more than anything else when you were underwater? Young Steven said, “I wanted AIR!!” The wise old man said, Steven when you want SUCCESS just as much as you wanted that air, you'll have it.”
(Question? How bad do you want success?)

adidas x David Z: "Black Tie"

david-z-adidas-black-tie-project-closer-1.jpg

(spotted @ adifans.net)

Ok so I'm MMMAAADDDD late with this post. Not because I wasn't up on it but because I was overwhelmed with other priorities to post this. So on the same Black Friday DJ Clark Kent released these, adidas released the Black Tie collabo with David Z

"As new fashion trends gear toward clean and dressier looks Adidas gets together with David Z to create the Black Tie Project.

This collaboration takes a deluxe approach with premium pearlarized leathers, patent leather and tone on tone pinstripes, but what really makes this shoe unique is the toe and midsole. The traditional rubber shell was replaced with premium embroidered leather and the midsole was leather wrapped giving a more sophisticated and grown appeal. The Superstar has been transformed into a dress shoe in this collaboration.
The 400 pair worldwide exclusive will release on Black Friday November 28th. A limited run will be released online exclusively at
Davidz.com and will be available in store at the David Z flagship store, Shoe Gallery Miami and Major DC."

Sunday Morning Service

Good Morning,
The essence of generosity is letting go...
Pain is always a sign that we are holding on to something -- usually ourselves. When we feel unhappy, when we feel inadequate, we get stingy; we hold tight...
Generosity is an activity that loosens us up. By offering whatever we can -- a dollar, a flower, a word of encouragement -- we are training in letting go.
Free yourself and let go...
