Honestly Sir, this is the best choice for a running mate you could come up with? Should something happen to you I'm supposed to feel comfortable with this lady assuming Commander in Chief? She doesn't know ANYTHING about you, this country, our economy or foreign policy. I have yet to see an interview where she ANSWERS a question!!! I am disappointed in you Sir! As a war veteran who touts his love for this country I would expect you to put the needs of your beloved country first and not your own political ambition. I cannot do 12 years of BUSH!
David Letterman on McCain canceling the debate:
"You don't suspend your campaign. This doesn't smell right. This isn't the way a tested hero behaves. I think someone's putting something in his metamucil. He can't run the campaign because the economy is cratering? Fine, put in your second string quarterback, Sara Palin. Where is she? What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!"
