Paul wasn’t ashamed. He says in the book of Romans “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for everyone who believes…”(Rom 1:16). While we say “I am not ashamed of the gospel”, our lives don’t speak it. Too often we are caught up in the the things of this world, too easily satisfied with its enjoyments, rather than God himself.
Why is that? Paul didn’t live that way. Everywhere he went he was mocked and beaten for believing this gospel. In fact, he was killed because of it! Yet, that didn’t keep him from proclaiming the very message he was called to die for. And we are called to do the same!
Problem is, we allow the world to shame us for believing this message. They think its foolish we believe in such a truth. Peer pressure has many believers locked in its grip. Too often we allow the world to rule our lives rather than the Word of God. That needs to change!
This summer, the 116 Clique is traveling from city to city, not just to put on a concert, but to call believers to live UNASHAMED of the GOSPEL! Are you ready to live that way? Or will you allow the world to keep you from being souled out for Christ?
